"I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" (John 8:58)

Behold The Man!

Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him. And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe, And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands. Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him. Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, "Behold the man"! (John 19:1-5 KJV)

Did God Create Evil?

Recently I have seen this question being asked on several blogsites, "If God created everything, then, did not God create evil"?

What God created or instituted was choice and freewill. To our great sorrow, choice and freewill opened wide the floodgate to man's choosing evil over good (Genesis 3). Of course, the first to choose evil over good was satan (Isaiah 14: 12-17 and Ezekiel 28:12-19)!

We must remember that God alone is good—period! (Matthew 19:17) Our problem in being human is that we do not choose good. So, of course, we do not choose God! We must be very careful—fearfully considering the dire consequence of one's belief that man is tempted with evil by God! (James 1:13-14) No, scripture clearly tells us we are tempted with evil by satan, our own insatiable flesh and the world (1 John 2:14-17).

We will see this truth even more clearly during Christ's Millennium reign. satan, that father of all lies, will be bound for 1,000 years. Still, man will choose sin. Oh, I pray you know that satan is not omnipresent, omnipotent or omni-anything! So the only reason sin will exist upon the earth during this period is man's own flesh (or, his sin nature) and/or the evil desires of this world. Yes, Christ's 1,000 year reign upon this earth will prove this truth to the entire world! At that time, the secular, cultural and intellectual and false doctrine of "humanism" will be fatally crushed under Christ's feet! Glory!

Humanism teaches that man is innately "good", that there is no Supreme Being, and that there is no absolute truth! Man does not "sin," because sin does not exist. Man is merely led into certain choices and/or actions as the result of his circumstances. Humanism further teaches the great myth that world peace and an equality of social and economic status will end man's desire and struggle for more. Lies!

(Humanism is perhaps man's greatest excuse for refusing Christ. I wonder if that may be why Christ chooses to address this great deception during this final period in time???)

The world will be at perfect peace during Christ's earthly reign! Justice will rule! Man's every need will be completely met. No one will lack for any good thing! Yet, sin will abound. Sadly, man will continue to choose evil over good. Even choosing, no, daring to rise up against the Holy One, Jesus the Christ, rightly seated upon the throne of David in Jerusalem (Revelation 20:1-9).

Take heart, child of the King, Christ's reign will prove beyond a shadow of a doubt what scripture has already told us—man is utterly lost and utterly without excuse—in desperate need of a Savior (Romans 1:17-22)! That Savior is our Lord, Jesus Christ!

Oh, how I pray that you, dear one, have chosen good, that you have chosen Christ!

"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them." (Deuteronomy 30:19-20 KJV)

"Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." (Joshua 24:14-15 KJV)
